Question for those with Nikon Coolpix4300

Yasser May 04, 2004 02:29 PM

I am wondering how many pics the standard 16MB card it comes with usually holds.
Thanks to all who respond.

If you go with FINE setting, you can hold about 9 or 10. You will definitely want to get another CF card...at least 128MB. I have a 4300 and a 5700 and use 256MB and two spare 128MB cards.

It does depend on the settings, but I found myself deleting pics no matter what setting I had it on. I invested in a 128 mb card and now I can get about 90 pics on the fine setting.

Sorry to not answer your question exactly. I really do think this great camera benefits from having a good card. None of the camera manufacturers seem to supply a good enough media card with their cameras. (I had an Olympus before and it only came with an 8MB!) Here's a pic I snapped last weekend of my 03 Leary JCP. I would hate to have had to delete any of the series!
