Does it look ok??...she seems ok w/ it....she seems to come out more w/ less floor space....do they normally like it a bit cluttered?...do I need to take anything out or anything??

Looks good, though you didn't mention the size of the snake. The carpeting can be rough on the belly scales, so keep an eye open to see if it irritates the snake, also it's a hassle to switch the carpet for cleaning with all that stuff on it so you may choose to move over to loose substrate. The tissue box and tubes are good additions to the cage, but take away from the natural look. I suggest covering them with some paper mache and painting them with acrylic paints to look more like rocks. Have fun.

>>The actuall set up looks fine. I would probably get rid of the carpet, though.
It looks good and works Ok for a little while but it traps moisture and odors and is harder to keep clean.
newspaper or paper towels don't look very good but they are easy to spot clean and change and then there is my personal favorite, aspen shavings.
Aspen shavings act as another hide as the snakes like to burrow in them, they are easy to spot clean, they look pretty good, they aren't very expensive and they aren't dusty.

It's nice to see someone design a "habitat" for their snake. Have fun!
All the best,
