A few question's about my panther....

pernads May 04, 2004 07:28 PM

First of all, this is my first panther. I have very extensivly researched panther's. Seppi, my panther is 4 1/2 months old. I measured him today and he is over 13" long head to tail. Is this larger than most panthers his age?? Secondly, what colors should I be expecting when he matures?(resting, fired up)?? He seems very healthy, and loves to eat. He has been eating every day, about 8-10 crickets, a few waxworms, 1 roach, and about 6-8 mealworms. Every time I put more food in he runs to it and eats instantly. He loves when i spray him with warm water. I will spray him for 10 minutes, and he wont move an inch. IS there any chance of this guy having blue bar's?? or other colored bars?? I notice his resting colors to be real sweet. How long before he will reach his mature colors???

Thanks guys and gals, I appreciate your imput....
Greg

Your best bet is to look at the sire.Since most panthers somewhat resemble their fathers (unless the female was another locale). But from what i can tell, he is going to be gorgeous! And whats impressive is that he is only 4.5 months old. So he has alot of growing and coloring up to do. He really reminds me of my cross.

Hey Greg,
Wanted to let you know that I saw the pik. You sure have done a great job of taking care of him. He is totally awesome! I kinda wish that I'd kept him now.HaHa
