Tokay Question

I am New to them, She went into shed and she seems to have turned 180 she just lays around dose nothing, scairs me I think she is going to kick over. Is normal for them?? Do they get this way? Also I there some way I can help her shed?

Is she laying on her back?If so its normal.And for shedding you have to increase the humidity,and u might have to pull the skin off with tweezers.

how long have u had her and what size setup do u have her in? I notice thats Tokays kept in small tanks are not very active even at night. It is normal for them to hide out and not move during the day but not at night. Not shedding comepletly could be a sign of the humidity not high enough or being consistant. How much and where is the retained shed at on her. If its on her feet this could cause probs with her moving around and cause the lose of digits if not removed. what temps are your warm and cool end at and how old is your Tokay?

Telling the age of a Tokay isn't as easy as you have it Dakman.

BTW, if one of those 15 is a female, E-mail me cause I have a male that's diein to meet her!
