Restless '02 Corns

HairForce1 May 05, 2004 11:53 AM

I have two '02 Corns, one Anery and one Snow, housed separately. They've both been great eaters (on small rats now). They've both also been very reclusive and shy - it used to be rare to see them out of their hides.

Now, they've both gone off feed (4 weeks each), and they're very restless. They're now both always out and about in their respective cages. They don't retreat from humans outside their cages, and the Anery actually tried striking at my 2-year-old daughter through the glass (she's very active and makes him nervous).

Are they lovesick? Is there something seasonal going on? Any ideas?

Thank you in advance,

HF1 (Rich)

Sounds like they are looking for love.

They will most likely start eating again after the breeding season passes. Only if they start loosing weight would I worry about it.

I kind of figured that's what it was. They're not losing seriousl weight yet since they were borderline overfed. I figure if they're this darn active that they're feeling pretty good.

Thank you!
