Problem feeder?

Buckle May 05, 2004 03:45 PM

My gray-band is far from a problem feeder. That boy loves to eat. Last night, I was cleaning out his cage and my girlfriend was handling him. When I was done, I dropped in a pinky for him. Normally, I would think that he would be a little stressed after being handled. But when I put him back in, he actually grabbed the pinky while he was still in my hands. I am hoping that it's because he is comfortable with us handling him and not because he was just that hungry!

My blairs is the same way. He'll overeat if we're not careful! He eats after handling too as we found out with no problem.

He's sometimes plays with his dinner though and pretends he doesn't want it, then snatches it out from under or above something around it.

I guess we're two lucky people!

Though I could appreciate a snake that doesn't pull down all the thermometers... he likes to grab them, pull them off the wall and drag them around his tank. He's not trying to eat them, it's odd...
