A burm should not shed like that. Humidity, not wetness of the snake will cause a dry shed. Now since you give the anaconda a water bowl and it is spending time it it, i really doubt you will get a dry shed. All my snakes shed in one piece unless it gets caught on something in the cage and rips into two pieces..but still, thats really a one piece shed. describe your burm setup so we can help you get that in order too. If you get a bad shed with the conda...its becuase your humidity in too low and it could even be a bit cold in the tank, sometimes even temp. can affect a shed.

I agree with Eunectes4 on the humidity issue. I got my g/f a baby burm 4 or 5 months ago. It too wouldn't shed in one piece. What I did was started misting the entire enclosure and covering up most of the screen top during the days leading up to the shed. It's worked so far.
My conda shed all in one piece a few weeks ago. I was going to post a pic of it because it's about 12 feet long. Just goes to show you how much a shed can be stretched during the process of getting out of it.
I too like this forum. I finally got a reply to my post in the croc forum, and guess what, it was from another conda keeper.lol
Good luck and let us know what happens when it sheds.

i do not have my burms eny more i had to get ride of them years ago when i was moveing. i would love to have kept them but when i was moveing i lived in a trailer that did not have room for a 10 galloin tank let alone the 7x3x4 cage i kept my burms in. now that i think back to it my humidity for that cage would have bin low being the whole cage was made from a material like the reptariums u can buy. a friend of mine had made it for me.
