I ordered a snake from a breeder (over the internet). It was a male boa 100% het albino (Kahl) - when it was shipped to me yesterday morning, it was freezing cold and it's back end was limp (It was shipped with a heat pack, but it was still extremely cold). It was having a very hard time moving. I held it in my hands for a few minutes just to let it warm up. The snake seemed extremely small for being 8 months old- it was also very skinny. Last night I checked on it and it was dead. What would be the common practice in this type of instance? Full refund? partial refund? no refund? (I have been keeping snakes for over 2 years and have raised up three snakes from the age of three months old till now (over 2 years old) It isn't like this was my first snake. I have two suriname redtails and two cornsnakes. This is a first for me so could someone tell me what would be fair for both parties in this situation. Thank you in advance for your responses.
