Hi everyone,

Well, we have finally moved into our new home and are *starting* to experience the beginnings of spring and of warmer weather. As luck would have it, it was exceptionally warm last weekend and our female ig got to spend some time in our front balcony (which also acts as a solarium during the summer).

The first day we moved in, she actually asked to come out of her enclosure -- very unusual for her! She usually pouts for several weeks to several months when she is in a new place, until she finally adapts. Maybe she's got good vibes about this place.

Anyway, here are a few pics of her exploring the balcony:

We used to live in a tiny appartment with no balconies, so the igs never got to enjoy any sunshine, except on very rare occasions. Yep, I think the igs will like it here.

This is a pic of our male ig, Cujo, as he sleeps. He just about always opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out a little, but it's worse if he happens to be leaning his head over his shelf, as he is doing now. When he's in a really deep sleep, his mouth hangs right open with his tongue out. Man, he must have dry mouth when he wakes up... LOL

Does anyone else's ig do this? My female used to drool, but not actually let her mouth hang open.

Sooooooo funny.

Forest opens his mouth a tad & sticks his tongue out just a bit but nothing like hanging his head off a shelf & letting it ALL hang out.

I'm rolling.
