Almost looks like a weird phase of garter from that view, but I will leave it up to someone else to confirm or correct it.

I'll go with garter as well, however, the label is "big Snake". Exactly how big was it? Garters tend to be less than 3'.

I agree. That is an aberrant Eastern Gartersnake. Neat looking specimen, actually.

That's an aberrant eastern garter....thamnophis sirtalis.....easterns do have a lot of abnormal patterns and colors. If you find her again let me know...I'd be interested in her for my collection.
