These geckos are really easy to care for and breed. They have huge appetites and are very tame. They do not seem to appreciate lots of open space, so they need to be kept in an enclosure with lots of cork bark or other places for wedging themselves into (wouldn't use rocks). They stay small and really do not need alot of space. A pair (1.1.0 or 0.2.0) would do fine in a 5 gallon sized enclosure. I only mist their enclosure lightly when one sheds (which is probably not even necessary) and other than that, maybe once a month. They do need a shallow water dish and distinct cooler and warmer zones for correct thermoregulation. They lay their eggs on top of the sand and generally atleast half of the egg is visible. This make the collecting of tiny eggs less of a stress. At about 4-5 months or 2.25-3 in. they can be accurately sexed. Some females that are overweight may seem like males because of the fat deposits at the base of the tail resembling hemipenal bulges. However a male's bulge is more squared off than the rounded bulge of an overweight female. Males also have more pronounced preanal pores (a "v" shaped row of pores that secrete a waxy substance between the back legs before the vent). Just keep them dry on something that matches their tonality (bark and sand mixes are good) and remember to have corkbark for climbing and hiding.

They are awesome little geckos.....I just picked up my 2nd at a show a few weeks ago, had a hard time restaining myself to take more. The 1st response you got tells you everything you really need to know, they are a real trip, like nothing I ever expected, honestly. I'll post some pix of my 2, they're young yet.....only a couple of mos. old.
