I am going to buy two leopard geckos, one male one female that will either be juvies or sub-adults. I was wondering if they could be housed in the same tank right away... they would be in a 30 gallon and I am planning to try and breed them... I also have another 20 gallon long if I need to house them seperately. I would like to have them in the same tank but would that not be as beneficial as seperating them? sry I got repetitive

If they are bought TOGETHER and have already been housed together in the past you can put them together. Make SURE they are male and female.. not male and male.. or they will fight. If they come from different breeders than seperate them for at least 3 months to amke sure they are healthy

ive found that male and female...the female usually gets REALLY stressed out by the male...always buying and wanting to mate...but if they are babies...u should be fine..but i don't advise it...i almost lost my adult female as a juvie that way..she was stressed out until i seperated her...but the male stayed nice and plump...comes to say that females DO get stressed out by males...might not result in a fight death like males with males...but a stress death might happen...altho many people have kept them together with no problems..im just speaking from my personal experience...
