Snake Shed In Double Knots!!!

cecanady May 05, 2004 10:04 PM

I came home this evening to my Okeetee's shed skin sticking partway out of one of his hides. I started pulling it out to give it the usual inspection and noticed that the shed was tied in two knots! It was so cool, but I can't believe he was able to shed while tied in knots. That is one of his customary positions, but I never knew he could shed like that...just something I found amuzing and wanted to share. Wish I had a digital camera to post a picture of this insanity!

haha...Mine hasn't shed in a knot yet, but every time I go to take the shed out of his cage, it's wrapped around sticks, hides, and plants...I usually have to cut it out...he probably thinks it's funny....
