i was wondering... i have been really sick lately, and i was thinking about if it would be OK for me to touch the turtles... can they catch this cold i have? i always wash my hands and everything, but i was just wondering if they can catch human diseases.... i know that they can have a respiratory infection, but do they catch this from humans? ok... well anyways, enough chattering, i was just wondering! thanks to anyone who can help!

No reptiles can't catch human sicknesses. They can pass some parasites to humans, but thats about it.
