cage question

dmlove Jun 16, 2003 11:29 AM

i moved my female to a 4 ft cage (she is 14 inches) and i moved my male (17 inches) to his 4 ft cage, but now they dont bask, they have been there a day, and from what ive seen they have both been sitting in the same spot where they woke up, eyes looking around. I put them both at the basking spot, hoping it will perk them up, they havnt eaten any of their salad, and my male looks depressed. They have been there since last night. Could my male be depressed, he was bobbing at the female ALLLL day yesterday through his cage, but she bobbed her head back (?!?!) and then walked away. He didnt move from the spot since. What is wrong with my two dragons!? should i make a barrier in between to minimize stress? Are they just getting adjusted to their new cages? should i try to feed them again in a few days, when they are adjusted>! thanks

Could your male and female see eachother before? The reason I ask is when my male accidentally sees my female (in seperate cages in different rooms) he won't eat for a few days! I think he gets frustrated. Or it could be that because they are in new cages it will just take them a while to get adjusted. How are your temps?
