Hey everybody

I just got four D.Azureus froglets a couple days ago, they have been eating great! everytime i feed them i dust their flies with either Herptivite or RepCal calcium. My question is: is it ok to dust their food all the time or should i just feed them plain fruit flies once in a while?
thanks everyone!

I dust every time I feed, although I've heard that dusting at least every other feeding is also ok. I would recommend that you mix your supplements together in a 1:1 or a 2:1 ratio of herptivite to repcal. This way the frogs are sure not to get an excess or deprivity of either supplement at any one time, not to mention it might make the process of dusting a little easier for you the keeper! Good luck with the new additions to your family!

I dust every feeding, too. A lot of the dust falls off over a short time, so the frogs are getting some undusted flies as well, later in their hunting expeditions.
