does this actually help prevent and kill mites?i have heard this through a grapevine...does it have harmful effects towards the snakes or lizards?please help..thaanks

To the best of my knowledge, Eucalyptus is highly toxic (except to Koala bears) and it is not recommended to use any fragrant, oily wood for snakes or lizards (like Cedar or Pine). Aspen is good, and you can always use paper towels or newspaper.
