does anyone elses anaconda smash itself practically flat into places i have tried moving my anaconda several times and he keeps going back to the water tub and squishing himself in between it and the tank he looks like a yellow pancake

Yes it's perfectly normal. If the snake is doing it on it's own and not actually 'being' squished.
Sounds like it's scared. Make sure the environment for it is right by reading previous posts in here and handle it often and hopefully it will quit being so nervous. Keep in mind it might not though. Where you got it will say alot.

I'm cleaning a 10 gallon that I've had 'lunch' in for a week.NASTY
Also the conda decided that the corner of her cage would be the best spot(out of the whole damn cage) to relieve herself too. Corners are the worst to clean.
As I write this, the baby burm is giving back his rat in his cage too.
I think they're ganging up on me.lol

lol i know about deep in crap my 9 foot redtail took a big one today and my brazilian rainbow boa took a crap in her water bowl so im cleaning too

You can have plenty of hide spots in that cage but your snake is going to find its favorit on its own. My yellow will sometimes squeeze itself between the hide box and the side of its cage. Silly condas.. Get used to cleaning crap water, anacondas love to soil there water bowl, whats real bad is when you have to dig the snake out of it because it like to sit in the poop-poo soup. Arik, alcohol goes with everything, Silly conda keeper...

You must be right because I've had 4 more beers just to get through all my cleaning chores.
Get this I was cleaning my g/f's burm cage (10 gallon) and I put this snake in a verry large and deep rubbermaid thing. About 1' "6 deep tub. The little burm is maybe 20 " long. That snake jumped up and completly left the tub to try to git me. REPEATEDLY!! I ended up having to head grab the little guy just to get him back in his cage. He hates that tub. Only other time he's struck was in that tub. Maybe it's not his color. I've had snippy young burms before but I've never seen one actually jump.lol

I've taken about 25 more after those. but yeah my battery's going.
I'm going to get some pigs today for the snake. She's eating them still but apparently not for the rabbits yet.
Now I'm stuck with that poop factory of a rabbit.lol
