When I feed my four turts, I put them in a seperate tub and let them eat...I can leave them in there for a good hour or so but the minute I put them into their nice clean tank, they CRAP like there's no tomorrow! Does anyone know why they hold it til they get to their home tank? Is it the same reason people don't like taking craps in public restrooms and wait til they get home? I wish they wouldn't poo in the big tank. Also, right after they poo, they EAT it...and if one overeats and vomits, they'll eat that too. Is it ok for them to do that?

Don't let them overeat, I have never seen my turtles vomit. If the water in the rubbermaid isn't warm they won't poop in it.

Eating turtle waste. What a fun scenario. NOw if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy a large bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 and go repress that memory from my mental rolodex.Sorry I can't help, but if I were you I'd be off drinking somewhere turtle free too.
