My female has ovulated and has turned dark and I can tell she is going to shed pretty soon. She ovulated about 5 days ago. How long before I can start to feel the developing eggs?
Thank

Something is not adding up.
Typically it's around 21 days from the point of ovulation to the pre-egg shed. I just had a female shed at the 20 day mark. 5 days seems out of tune.......maybe someone with a different experience can comment.

Sorry.. I didn't mean that she is shedding, I said I can tell she is going to shed because of her color. She didn't shed in 5 days, she ovulated about 5 days ago.
...after ovulation the eggs are readily palpable but sometimes a bit difficult to differentiate one from another. I recommend as minimal disturbance of post-ovulatory females as possible. Why risk stressing the female? SJM
