Good place to find a branch

titustetricus May 06, 2004 12:51 PM

Hi All, I have had my BRB for a month now, and things are going great, and I switched him into a 29gal with a glass top, and I am using Cypress mulch as a substrate. I have been to a couple pet stores, and I can never seem to find a good branch to put in the tank for the snake to climb on. Has anyone had luck buying branches online? If so where di you get it? Thanks.

Find a non-poisonous tree, cut the branch.

Wash it.

Freeze it and the water expands to kill anything inside of the wood.

Just to be safe I then bake it @ 300 degrees for 20mins.

Has worked great for me!

Good luck...
