Well, my new (and first) tegu just arrived! I couldn't be happier, and it's as tame as I could have ever hoped for. I've named him/her Ping Pong. Here's a pic:

I got the little guy from LLL Reptile (lllreptile.com), and he/she's been doing great,execpt when it got out of my hands and got under my (heavy) desk. We had to nearly turn it upside down to get it, but besides that not a single problem.
Reading some of the things I've seen here, I expect there will be more things like this in store for me
