First time potential snake owner trying to decide what to get. Looking for something not overly aggressive that I will be able to handle, something relatively easy to take care of and something that looks good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A Ball Python ofcourse!!!
I do not think it was chance you came to this forum...Obviously you are aware the ball python meets all those characteristics and is a heavier bodied snake than most colubrids many people would advise. Ball python is a good beginner snake with simple care...just do the research first.
get a ball. That was the first snake I owned as a child & it's still my fav..sure my fav list is bigger now but ball pythons always stayed on it. they're not too expensive & a joy to work with
Thanks for the responses. How does a ball python compare with a columbian red tail boa, other than the difference in size? thanks...
