fake rocks?

i was planing on doing some of the fake rocks like i have seen here and was wondering if you can use them for water or food dishes, and what sealants are safe

I dont know what the water would do to the stuff personally i use of shells for most of my water dishes and they work great.

For my custom rock, I used TileLab sealant (it came in a yellow bottle) and it is great. As to whether or not it is safe to eat or drink from, I have no idea.
