How humid should a tank be for one leo? Right now, the humidity is about 30-35%. Also, my hygrometer is on the back center of the tank, near the top? Does its location effect the reading?

A leo tank should not be humid at all. The humidity of the room itself is normally fine. Giving a leo a humid hide provides concentrated humidity for shedding but will not increase the humidity of the whole tank. High humidity can cause respiration problems in reptiles that are from arid regions.
