The sand between the cracks of tile...

lisa_cristin May 07, 2004 03:51 AM

Is it a bad idea? Or is there not enough to really make much of a difference? The cracks are at the very most 1cm, and they are filled with childrens play sand. My babies are about one month old. I also do sometimes feed them crickets so they probably ingest a very small ammount.

its really rather hard to say but just incase i would use paper towel substrate until they get a bit older say 4-6 months old ,30 or more grams... you can still put all your rocks and hides, water bowl on it just use paper towel until they get a bit larger

I dont see a problem if it is just to fill in a crack.

when I have time I think I'll use paper towel to fill the cracks. Right now I have just put full sheets of paper towel down. It has worked for me before, it just looks a bit awkward and is faily frustrating.
