Hey, I'm going to build a hidebox for my big female blue. Does anyone have suggestions for what to use? Keep in mind she's probably 16 inches snout to base of tail and way over 3 in total length.

if you have a good amount of substrate, all you need is a board. they will dig under it and make their own space and arrange it the way they want. you can use just about anything for a hide, remember they like tight spaces to feel secure.

but it has to be something that can hold in humidity...
another reason for tight quarters. Use cypress mulch or spagnam moss to hold humidity

thanks! just built her one. i got a cat litter container (just a plastic little tub) and cut a hole in one side and filled it with spagnum moss from lowes. i think it cost me about $5 total.
