Future Owner Question?

Kramer010 May 07, 2004 06:12 AM

I am looking at getting two BP. Currently they are feeding on fresh killed weaned mice. How difficult will it be to switch them to frozen? I do not have access to live weaned mice.

Depends on the BP. They have a reputation for being difficult to sometimes switch. It varies, but there are numerous methods to trying to get them to convert. YOu'll find a lot of them on this and other forums, in the Ball Python Manual (I think) and on various caresheets.

i agree it varies greatly. I have balls that switched without a prob & I have ones that needed a little extra work. I don't a sick amount of snakes but most of my balls didn't give me a prob with that.
