What does "het" mean? I know that het leopard geckos are usually cheaper than non hets.

het is short for heterozygous, that means it has a 2nd gene that isn't showing on the outside, but can show up in babies when breeding. like if you breed an albino to a normal, you will get albino hets. hets are less then what they are het for, but usually more then normals.
