Does anybody know if climatis is ok to put in a veild encloser?

Does anybody know if climatis is ok to put in a veild encloser?
As lovely as they are, they can be toxic to mammals and birds so I would not risk it with herps. Form a growing standpoint clematis require cool shaded roots and their faces in the sun (most) and would be difficult to maintain indoors - unless in a conservatory or greenhouse
