Tanks!

I have attempted to research L. mexicana on the Internet, but have found that the resources are really limited. I have never found a range map online, but I know that there are several good books with range maps. Let me know if you would like the names. Greg

Thank you for replying Greg! And yes, I would like to know the names of the books.
Maybe I can found one of these books over here, in Portugal…

Get a copy of SYSTEMATICS OF THE MEXICANA SPECIES GROUP OF THE COLUBRID GENUS LAMPROPELTIS, WITH A HYPOTHESIS MIMICRY by William R. Garstka. Published in 'BREVORIA' Museum of Comparative Zoology, US ISSN 0006-9698, Number 466, 30 June 1982.

It's a wealth of information.

thanks everybody!
You really help me a lot Snakes!
I apreciate your sites very much too.
I’ve acquired my first Lampropeltis 6 months ago (L.mexicana thayeri), and I ´m doing some research about L.mexicana/alterna group.
I’m working on a website too, about reptiles and amphibians from the Iberian Peninsula.
