Ok, my leos get a weird, hard, white-pinkish tumor looking thing in their mouths every once & a while. I get it out by rolling/rubbing a wet q-tip & some betadine along the insided of their jaw & it comes out (almost pops out) after a good 10 mins. I wish I could describe it more, but thats about all there is to it!
All (3) of my leos have had this at least once since I got them & I get it out as soon as I notice it & their mouth heals back up to normal withing 2 days. I used to have calci-sand & I thought the sand might have been getting impacted in their jaw/mouth so I changed the subsrate to the finer vita-sand & one of my leos got one the other day despite this! What could it be & how can I prevent it???
