When I got my pair of sichuan mandarins from Brian B. he told me he had a clutch of 8 from a pair of his sichuan province mandarins last year. I would sure take that clutch of 7 any day though(I would be thrilled with a clutch of 3). I gather anything over 5 is rather large. Later, Randy Whittington

this is a different female than the one copping previously. the whole group was a bit late, but now we have gravid Mandarins all over the place.
off the top of my head, 5-8 is pretty average for a good sized Mandarin for us, although we have some awfully large females this year, so i wouldn't be surprised if we pushed beyond that...
