I have had my three-toed for a long time. This past year, while my father was taking care of it while I was at college (I just graduated, yay!) he slowly developed a dark discoloring in and around the beak. This was in conjunction with the growth of an overhang, which has persisted although I've done some trimming and have made sure to feed him in a ceramic dish.
Is this discolorization just from romaine and the like, or is it something more serious? He seems fine by all accounts. I would like any advice or experiences relating to what I've described. Thanks for all your help!
