biting mad crested?

ciliatusrex May 07, 2004 11:48 PM

I've had my male crested for about a month and he's seemed happy (or at least not stressed), but today we were doin' a lil' hand walking and he vocalized (i think) and bit me!
He's been eating well, but he has gotten a little paler than usual. Could this be a sign of him starting to shed? And if so could that make him more irritable?
He also defecated on me once, but I'm assuming that was just the luck of the draw : )
Thanks for any helpful input

I have never had one bite me, but one guy makes a habit of pooping on me, and almost every time i hold him. Needless to say, im a little hesitant to pull that guy out. I wouldn't worry about the color change, lighter colors usually don't indicate stress. Like a lot of animals, I've noticed that they get lighter if the temps have gone up or there is an increase in light/sunlight. Might want to check that out, but could be just shedding. Maybe he was just moody?
