Just wondering if anyone has any examples of templates they use for Excel or any other program to keep records of their snakes.

Thanks,
Rick S.

I used something different for a while but I adapted this format from school attendance cards.lol...I feel it allows me to see any trends or recurring problems more easily. It also allows for me to fit 3-4 animals' records on one regular size sheet of paper. This is great since I have 30 snakes. I keep it on a clipboard in my herp room and update it on my PC every now and then since it looks nicer. I could probably even design graphs from it showing trends and comparisons, but I haven't played around with that yet. However, I have since learned how to create an online data record that I can update quickly and easily if I wanted to display (for potential buyers) the records of animals for sale. Unfortunately, I don't have any animals for sale so it doesn't really apply to me right now.lol.
All I use is Microsoft Excel and AOL website design (Easy Creater I think?)...Whatever you use, it should be something you are most comfortable with. Play around with several ideas and then try to create something on your own...its more fun that way I think. Also, there are more universally accepted data sheets that zoos maintain, but I like my codes b/c its what I encounter occasionally. Well...hope its what you were asking about..if not..sorry...
