when i was younger i used to have a horney toad as my dad and grandparents called it i had him for a few years until he died and ever since then i was fascinated by horned lizards.my ? is, i have moved to Ill. from Cali. and the local petstore i go to just got in 3 horned lizards. what are some things to look for when i do buy and how do i find out if they are healthy?

Here are some links to some different care sheets. All of them have something valuable but all are short of complete.
What is really needed is a care sheet that accounts for different species. There are probably only about 5 or 6 species that are kept in the hobby so it shouldn't be too difficult.
However, you will find differing opinions about diet and various other things.

I know there are a few folks working on new information. Maybe they'll post?
