asked in 3 petstores today for some mealies for my 3 geckos and no one will sell them to me!
the only explanation they will give me is that they only keep mealies for birds they won't sell mealies for reptiles because they have hard heads and are not good if not digested properly!

looks like all i can give my three beautys then are crix crix and more crix oh and wax worms......

There are countless places you can buy mealies online and have them shipped to you.

In Canada, I use silkworms.ca ... I don't know any in the states, but I GUARANTEE you that they exist, more than 1 in every state. Try the feeder forum.

i'm in the uk it sux! im going to have a look at buying online though. here in the uk there are too many things that are no good you can't even feed snakes live food it's classed as in humane!

why not say ur buying mealies for ur birds...and then feed them to ur geckos O.o...not like they know what u keep...

return to those pet shop and tell them you want mealies for your lovely bird !!! (dont forget to say "yuck" when you look at a reptile)...

right first of all there are 3 pet stores near me that only deal with reptile food havent a clue where there are any more!
ive been keeping herps for the last 5years or more. these stores as you may be able to tell now know me pretty well!
all of my herps ive bought from these stores so i should say that they all know i keep as im in there 2-3 times a week after wax worms and crixs its just that i thought i would try mealies as you guys rave on so much about them but for some unknown reason they don't advise them to give lizards here!
WHY???????
Apparently they don't digest good. Here there have been cases where they have eaten through reptiles skins!
so therefore they do not reccomend using mealies on youre reptiles here!
STUPID I KNOW BUT THERE NOT MY GUIDLINES!

GRUBCO!!! im pretty they ship worldwide....its the cheapest ive found....and pretty good mealies too...also...why don't u buy like a finch for like 6 bux or something...and then say...my finch is a crazy eater
