A question about probiotics.

kephy May 08, 2004 08:20 AM

I bought some Acidopholiz back in January to help my dragon through coccidia and giardia. Now that he's all better, I still have it in my fridge.

I was wondering, once opened, how long does it stay good? Should I throw it away, or keep it around for a while in case one of them gets sick again?

We have some that has been refrigerated for a year now and under the mircoscope it still shows active bacteria. Without a mircoscope yuou can still check it, you'll see little sparkling spots in it.

Thanks! I'm glad to know it won't go to waste.
