check out my pics on SHHS snake bit photo section.
a small one like a adult male will put a hole in your finger but a big female might cause the tip or the finger to be lost.
I have been bittin by them many times.
a good snake to start out with a step above a pigmy or copperhead.
sometimes the females are tamable the male are usualy snappy.
the venom is tissue destructive.

I currently keep a Crotalus atrox, and an Agkistrodon mokasen. I was bit by the copperhead when it was a baby. But i have never had any other problems becuase i am now extra carefull. I have never kept any species inthe genus Trimeresurus. Hopefully that will be my next hot. I have found a few breeders and found a few at reasonable price. Thanks for the information.

Best Regards,
Kris
