It's been a while since I have posted in this section. I am hoping it is ok to post this here, but I am looking for someone who would be interested in caring for a 1 year old male BRB. Unfortunately, due to the long hours I have been working in addition to trying to keep up with my family's schedule as well as several other pets (including another snake) I don't have the time to provide this snake the attention that it needs. It has been fed and cared for properly since I got it, but I am trying to thin out my hobbies as much as possible so I can spend more time with my kids.
When I first got the snake it didn't want to eat for several weeks, but it finally ate an adult mouse and has eaten every week since. In fact, the mouse barely has time to hit the bottom of the cage before the snake has grabbed it and constricted it.
I would prefer someone local who can pick it up, but I would consider shipping. This snake is special to me and my kids, so I don't want to just give it away to someone who thinks it would be a "neat" pet but knows nothing about them. I would prefer someone who is passionate about snakes. If I can't find the right person, I would rather keep the snake and be sure it is properly cared for.
