well...ive been stressing over my geckos for a while...cuz both usually eats 5 a day...then one decreased to 3 a day...so i was really troubled....and still am....but today their since their sterilites were dirty and i had time...i went ahead and "handled" them for the second time...and they were great....didn't jump hiss run like the first time...anyway...i think that the one that doesn't eat as much has trouble identifying the mealie by the carrot eating the carrots inside the dish...cuz the mealies left are usually the ones surrounding the carrot....i use thin slices of carrot...should i use carrot shavings?...or something....cuz i dunno....well..heres a pic of my fav of the two...(of course the one that eats more ...and also the prettier one and calmer one)...she lets me hold him...while as the other...which today im pretty sure i saw two bulges...so probably a male...didn't like to get handled at all...well...enjoy elouise

Why do you got carrots in your leo cage? for keeping your mealies "gutloaded"? Just leave the mealies in the dish that is in the cage and put some calcium dust and any one of the T-rex foods in the dish with the mealies. The mealies will eat the dust and the leos will eat the mealies and dust.

well...i know im not the only one that does the carrot routine...the carrots seem to make them squirm more cuz they chomping away at it and stuff...also keeps the hydrated and the such....ive never tried the T-rex foods thing...tell me more about it...is it the ICB thing?

never knew about the carrots and squirming. The T-rex dust you use really doesn't matter. They are almost all identical.
