can someone post pictures of male and female cresteds

hello, i have 2 crested geckos. they are around 6 months old right now and living in a 30 gallon tall aquarium. i would like for someone to post pictures of male and females so i know exactly what i am looking for when i attempt to sex them

Though I don't have any pictures to show you, you can tell the males by the very large hemipenus bulges at the base of their tails. At the age yours are, you should be able to see them easily.

Here's a pic of my male Rust Brindle. Notice the "bulge" at the base of the tail. Females have nothing in the form of a bulge.

Thsi is a pic of him after about 3 days of starting to show the bulge. It will seem to appear over night. Youll say, is that a bulge, then with a day or two theres no mistake.

well the breeder i got them from said they were both temp sexed females, and it looks like i have 2 females. so i guess i am going to be lookin for a male soon

I wouldn't be in a big hurry to get males. "Females" can turn into males overnight. It might be better to wait until they are older. Even if you wait and they remain females, it is much easier to get a male as a sub-adult or full adult. If you purchase now and one of your existing pair turns male, then you will be required to have a separate cage or sell one.
