males and females

just bought a female for my male, she apparently may be gravid already, would it be best if I kept her away from him till I know for sure, or will she be okay.

It would be best for you to quarantine her and do regular fecal checks for about 3 months to make sure she doesn't have any parasites or diseases. You should always do this when you indroduce a new reptile to your collection.

This will also give you the opportunity to find out if she is gravid. Win-Win
