look for salamanders. Went out to my favorite spot for blue-spotted salamanders today in Waukesha County, WI. I try to visit this spot at least once a year. I wasn't disappointed as I found bushels of them, including this little guy.

I also found a couple of eastern (common) gartersnakes, including this angry fellow under a slab of bark.

Still hoping the weather improves around here.
