It's been quite warm here in Allegheny County the past 2 weeks and I've been finding many snakes. Atleast 30 shorthead garter snakes, 2 of which I found in mating. Around 20 northern brown snakes, a few baby ones that were meant for snake food got away. Probably 6 or so Common(Eastern) Garter snakes, including a foot and a half long and 1 inch thick adult male. A very small eastern ribbon snake, my first one. And 3 northern ringneck snakes, 2 small 03' hatchlings and a foot long adult that is about to shed.

I also found a juvenile painted turtle, 2 toads(1 in K Mart's parking lot) and 1 tiny northern slimy salamander which became food for a ringneck.
