Hi Randy. Yes, I also use logs still for some of my larger cages, but on a few of them I use smooth rocks like slate or river rocks for basking spots climbing areas etc. They are smooth and easy to clean compared to logs, and natural wood. I know many use plastic bridge type furniture and corner pieces. which are real easy to keep clean too. For a few of my cages I angle a piece of Plexiglas or wood. Really anything sturdy enough to hold a dragon or two with the liner wrapped around on it so they can lay and grasp on an angle to bask and also hide under them to get out of the lights for cooler temps if they choose. I'll look for a pic for you. Also I use reptile hammocks on some of my glass cages which are awesome if you have glass tanks and are using fluorescent UVB tubes as you can easily get the hammock in close range to receive the beneficial uvb rays.
Here is a link for the plastic caves, and bridge type basking perches some people are using for an easy clean cage furniture. You can get them at reptiledirect.com.

This cage still has some wood in it but the slate rock under the wood is holding the angled board from slipping down so you can do without the wood really and use a few nice pieces of rock instead. What you cannot make out in the pic is that there is room on each side of the slope where the dragons can get under the slope to get out of the light or to sleep at night. They really love these basking slopes, and the underneath hide spots they create, so most of my cages have something like this for them to bask on or hide under now. Sorry it is a bit blurry but it was taken with an old camera
