OK, i looked around the house today and realized i have an extra $1,000 to spend on Ball Pythons. So i am posing the question, What should i get for a $1,000 and where might i find it?

Other than normals, i have 1.0 Pastel, 0.1 Albino, 1.1 100% Het. Yellow Ghost, 1.1 100% Het. Buttersctoch Ghost, 1.1 100% Het. Piebald.

So what would be my next move? Thank you... John

Nice collection you got going there...Honestly if I were you I would sell off the pair of yellow ghosts, use that money with the $1k and get a female pastel....You already have a pair of butterscotch ghosts, which in my opinion are far better looking then yellow ghosts...That is what I'd do, but that's just me.

But 3 or more Normal Adult Females. 100 normal 2004 baby females. Or try finding a Male Pastel for that Price.

Got a Male pastel. Could go the female route, but i am hoping to add a new morph. Thanks... John

Males go for about $1000 last time I checked....then you could save a little more or sell off one of the het ghost pairs and buy some poss hets later on....

buy a male het albino then with the leftover buy some nice breeder females for your pastel.

So that's what's up with all those odd looking pics in the python gallery! I was sure that balls where the only snakes in existence.

Save up a little more and get a pair of womas. excelent snakes, and in my opinion well worth the cost...

Sell the 1.1 het yellow ghost pair, and get yourself an orange hypo/ghost female. That way you've added a new morph to your collection. This is what I would do with her, take your male pastel and breed to her when she's up to size, then you will get some pastels 100% het hypo/ghost. Breed a pastel het hypo/ghost son back to orange hypo/ghost mom and you have chance at getting a hypo pastel! And those look nuts! That is what I am currently going for right now, and don't forget a pastel het hypo/ghost would be worth much more money. Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Thanks, i have been looking for an Orange Ghost male but none around. Your idea might be better, but i do want to keep the Het Yellow Ghosts(at least till i get a Yellow Ghost or 2.

I do like the idea on a female and doing her with the male Pastel. I was planning on breeding my Pastell to like 3 or 4 normal females and then to the female Albino(since i do not have any Het or Albino male. This way i would be kinda in the same boat but with the Albino and Pastel.

If you know where i can come across an Orange Ghost, please let me know. Thanks for the advise... John

i just picked up a really nice pair of orange ghosts from stan ruppel of the snake lab. i think he might have a male available. if i remember it was around 1000$ fro a lone male.
