R.I.P Lilith...

Lucien May 08, 2004 08:27 PM

Well... Lilith passed on a few minutes ago..for anyone that read my previous post about needing advice... I opened her up to see the reason and discovered she was egg bound.. she had 4 sets of eggs backed up in her and 2 that had shrivelled up into hard black masses... She probably died of the infection that set in...

R.I.P Lilith

I am so sorry for your loss. It really does hit you hard! I lost a little one myself recently. It is shocking that it can happen so quickly. I just look at the pictures and remember the good times. That's all you can do. Good Luck and again I am sorry!

I am also sorry for your loss!...im sorry i couldn't do much about it...being that you are in vermont..uve tried ur best....sucks when things like that happen....like the previous poster said...she'll always be with u if u have pics of her...which u do ...and a GREAT way to get over a lost one is to get a baby that is nearly identical when she was just a baby...not really easy with normals but u can find a similar one...and name her the same thing too!...well...hope u feel better!!!

I am so sorry. I bet she was so awesome. Sorry for your loss. Hope you have some incubating from her! If not let me know I might can TRY(I know I can't) replace her for ya! I have a few very similiar to her.

No.. no eggs from her this year unfortunately but I have her son from last year who's a proud daddy this year... Thanks for the offer.. I do appreciate it but a friend of mine is giving me a new hatchling for my birthday.. She was my first leo along with her mate Caine....Caine is alive and well..and the pair got me interested in them for the long haul.... I can never have too many geckos but I can't actually afford to buy a replacement for her. She came from Kelli at HISSS.
