New person interested in tree boas

Goblin-Gecko14 May 08, 2004 08:58 PM

I've been reading about tree boas and I'm interested in ATB's not ETB' because they are too big. I have a couple of question how big do ATB's grow, how old do they live for, what type of tank size is needed, and also what is the average price thanks.

Here's a big female, too bad I miss the head on the pics but it show her size well, she's mean so it's hard to take good pics. Not all atg get that big, best thing would be to find a cb male (if big enough to be sexed) from small adultes if you want to make sure he stay small. I'm builting 2 X 2 X 2 for them, they are less arboreal then etb, mine spend quite some times on the floor. Use rubbermaid when it's small, great for keeping humidity. Average price, in Canada you can find cb one between 100-250$. Might be cheaper in the us. Don't know if you already found this site www.corallus.com lots of good info on it.
